I'm a witty bastard and a generally fun individual to be around. I watch the History Channel for fun, but am an enormous fan of So You Think You Can Dance. For the record, I cannot, in fact, dance, nor have I ever been guilty of thinking as such. I am a comedian through and through and have a joke for every situation, but I am fully capable of being serious, and I know the right time for it. I've been quoted as saying, "Let's get naked and listen to the Beatles" on more than one occasion. For the past couple of months, I've been putting together a rap battle competition at my home comedy club, just for fun; I know next to nothing about rap, and lack a significant supply of "street cred." My favorite playwright is either Tom Stoppard or David Mamet, depending on my mood.

Well where to start? I am in the Navy and stationed at the boot camp until like March of 2012. I have lived in the area since Feb 2009. I just got back from a 1 year tour from Afghanistan. I am an overly educated woman who has spent the last decade living all around the county--mostly because of being in school and a few other things. In my free time, aside from reminding my dogs that they are the most pampered pooches in the neighborhood, I like to spend time with friends, watch movies, read, write, and play sports.

i'm a hard working stoner, easy going, love to hang out with friends and be outside on a nice day. i am funny, sarcastic, sometimes dark humor but always in good fun trying to get a laugh. i am usually a positive thinker, although i wasn't always that way. i don't like the bar or club scene, but i don't mind hanging out at dive bars with friends or at places with live music. i used to be part hippy and part raver, if that tells you anything. i went to school for computer programming and i have played a few online games, so i guess that makes me a dork? or a nerd? i'm not sure, i'm just me ;)

I'm a real laid back cat but once you get to know me I'm pretty funny.... I don't know what to say. This is the first time I'm really using this site so I guess it doesn't hurt to try. I play german board games aka euro board games. Really, I'll play any kind of board games so long as it's not your basic Milton Bradley family fare. I also play console games, and yes, I am a little ashamed of that as a former PC gamer. Most frequent video games these days: L4D, Rock Band, Bioshock. Most frequent board games: Pillars of the Earth (with expansion), Agricola, Puerto Rico (a renaissance), any crayon rail game.

I have a cat. I'm married, and we have an open relationship. I drink Diet Coke with Lime whenever I can.
In the warmer (but not warmest) months, I like biking and running around in the woods. Sometimes I do Orienteering or urban adventure racing (but just for fun). In the cold months, I'm learning to ski. I can do blue runs at Devil's Head now, w00t!

I'm currently at CLC in Grayslake and I'm getting a degree in Music Education to be a teacher. My real dream is performance, and I work with bands in Chicago and Milwaukee but even if I made it, I'd still want to teach on the side. I'm transferring probably next fall to a different school, but I'm not sure where yet. Probably somewhere in Chicago.

I'm 25 years old, I'm an artist and I play the guitar. I was born in Chicago, IL and have traveled throughout Illinois due to the likes of my step father at an early age.
